Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

Article 1 - Legal Information

These Terms of Service are concluded between:

  • BotHost, a company offering Discord bot hosting services, hereinafter referred to as "the Provider"
  • Any natural or legal person wishing to make a purchase via the website bothost.cloud, hereinafter referred to as "the Client"

Article 2 - Purpose

These Terms govern the sales of Discord bot hosting services offered by BotHost on its website. These services include:

  • Discord bot hosting (Python, Node.js)
  • Access to a management dashboard
  • Technical support based on subscription level
  • Automatic backups

Article 3 - Pricing

Service prices are listed in euros (€) including all taxes. BotHost reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood that the price in the catalog on the day of the order will be the only one applicable to the Client.

3.1 Available plans

  • Starter: €2.99/month or €29.90/year — 1 bot, 512 MB RAM, 5 GB storage
  • Pro: €5.99/month or €59.90/year — 3 bots, 1 GB RAM, 15 GB storage
  • Business: €14.99/month or €149.90/year — 10 bots, 2 GB RAM, 50 GB storage

Annual prices represent a discount of approximately 17% compared to the monthly rate.

Article 4 - Orders

The Client selects the service of their choice and proceeds with payment via the available payment methods (credit card, PayPal). The order becomes final at the time of payment.

A confirmation email will be sent to the Client summarizing the order details.

Article 5 - Payment

Payment is made on a monthly or annual basis, at the Client's choice. Accepted payment methods are:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe
  • Google Pay, Apple Pay (via Stripe)

Payments are secured via the Stripe platform (PCI DSS Level 1 certified). BotHost does not store any credit card data.

5.1 Payment default

In case of payment failure on the renewal date:

  • Day 0: Notification by email and in the dashboard
  • 7-day grace period: The service remains active. Reminder emails are sent on D+3 and D+6.
  • After 7 days: Service suspension — bots are stopped and the plan is downgraded to the free plan
  • 30 days after suspension: Permanent deletion of bot files and data. A warning is sent 5 days before.

The Client can reactivate their service at any time by settling their payment, as long as the data has not been deleted.

Article 6 - Right of Withdrawal and Refund

In accordance with legal provisions, the Client has 14 days from the subscription to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify reasons.

For digital services whose execution has begun with the Client's agreement, the Client acknowledges losing their right of withdrawal.

Refund requests after the 14-day period will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Article 7 - Service Level Agreement (SLA)

BotHost commits to providing a 99.9% availability rate for its hosting services. In case of non-compliance with this commitment, the Client may receive compensation in the form of service credit.

7.1 Exclusions

The availability guarantee does not apply in the following cases:

  • Scheduled maintenance (announced in advance)
  • Force majeure
  • Client actions affecting the service

Article 8 - Termination

The Client may cancel their subscription at any time from their dashboard (Billing section). The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. The service remains accessible until that date.

BotHost reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of:

  • Non-payment (see article 5.1 for the procedure)
  • Violation of terms of use
  • Abusive use of resources
  • Illegal activities or activities contrary to Discord's terms of use

In case of account deletion at the Client's initiative, data is deleted immediately (files, bots, backups). Billing data is retained for 10 years in accordance with legal obligations.

Article 9 - Liability

BotHost shall not be held liable for indirect damages, data loss, or service interruptions caused by factors beyond its control.

The Client is solely responsible for the content and behavior of their Discord bots.

Article 10 - Applicable Law

These Terms of Service are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. Failing that, French courts shall have jurisdiction.
