What is BotHost?
BotHost is a specialized hosting platform for Discord bots. We offer optimized infrastructure to easily deploy and manage your bots, with a guaranteed 99.9% uptime and responsive technical support.
What programming languages are supported?
We currently support Python (discord.py, pycord, etc.) and JavaScript/Node.js (discord.js). More languages will be available soon. Each bot has its own isolated environment with the necessary dependencies.
Will my bot always be online?
Yes! We guarantee 99.9% uptime. Your bots are automatically restarted in case of a crash, and we monitor our infrastructure 24/7. In case of scheduled maintenance, you will be notified in advance.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and SEPA bank transfers. All payments are secured via Stripe.
Can I change plans at any time?
Absolutely! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard. The change takes effect immediately and proration is calculated automatically.
Is there a free trial period?
We offer a 7-day trial on the Starter plan. No credit card required to get started. You can test all features before committing.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a full refund within 14 days of your first payment if you are not satisfied. After this period, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
How do I deploy my bot?
It's very simple! Create a bot from your dashboard, upload your files (or connect your GitHub repo), configure your environment variables, and click "Deploy". Your bot will be online in seconds.
How do I add dependencies to my bot?
For Python, create a requirements.txt file at the root of your project. For Node.js, make sure your package.json is up to date. Dependencies will be automatically installed during deployment.
Can I access my bot's logs?
Yes! From your bot's dashboard, go to the "Logs" tab to see real-time logs. You can also download historical logs and set up error alerts.
Can I use a database?
Yes! You can use SQLite (local file) included in all plans. For external databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), you can connect to your own server or use cloud services like Railway or PlanetScale.
How do I contact support?
You can contact us via our ticket system in the dashboard, by email at support@bothost.fr, or join our Discord server for real-time assistance. Support is available 7 days a week.
What is the support response time?
We generally respond within 24 hours for standard tickets. Pro and Business customers benefit from priority support with a guaranteed response time of less than 4 hours.
